iprima.cz doesnt work

I did some deeper research from my limited network with blocked port 1935:

If I use FRD, it connects to:

1) pavouk.aira.cz:80
2) embed.livebox.cz:80
3) ip-160-218-1-184.eurotel.cz:port 1935 or 443 or 80, as set in the plugin preferences
No download.

If I play the video directly from iprima.cz, the main stream goes from
ip-160-218-6-4.eurotel.cz:80 - a different IP adress than FRD tries to use in the third step.

Sometimes during video playback it also connects to 217.39.54.24:80 and pavouk.aira.cz:80.

When I tested with browser+wireshark it was from : 160.218.1.184 or ip-160-218-1-184.eurotel.cz as you wrote it.

From what I tested they used some domains : bcastmw.livebox.cz (which we currently use in plugin), bcastnw.livebox.cz, bcastlw.livebox.cz. Maybe some others, but I couldn't find them during the tests.

I have code in my local repository that provides option to choose host (dynamic, bcastmw.livebox.cz, bcastnw.livebox.cz, bcastlw.livebox.cz). But it still doesn't work with port 80. But works fine with port 1935, with whatever domain I choose. I haven't committed it though.

Can you check it with browser+wireshark (you can filter it by rtmpt), which domain provides the video? Can you attach page source of the main page of the video you're trying to download?

It's not about the host. I can download just fine with 160.218.6.4 as host, port 1935. But doesn't work with with port 80.

I can download from 160.218.6.4 too (on port 80), but not from 160.218.1.184, which the plugin uses.

Some data contradict others, I can't find a solid conclusion for this issue.

Maybe you can try rtmpsrv+rtmpdump, or if you're using windows OS it's easier with rtmpdumphelpher : [www.nirsoft.net] +rtmpdump. Those tools don't work for me with port 80, but maybe work for you.

Although the Nirsoft rtmpdumphelpher utility has a menu option to set another port (80/443) for rtmpsrv or rtmpsuck, the server always uses port 1935. I have explored the command line options of these utilities and there is no port settings available. So it does not work for me.

It's probably easier to implement Apple HLS streams as an option. I don't have much free time lately. I'll see what I can do.

Okay, iPrima plugin v1.4.0 supports HLS. There is no HD stream in HLS unfortunately.

@tong2shot

I just tried it:

Download HLS over port 80 OK
Video format: TS (was FLV over RTMP) OK
Video size: 640x480px, the same as HD download over RTMP.

You did a really great job, thank you!

There is one glitch in the plugin 1.4.0 - the RTMP/HLS preferences aren't saved, so when I select HLS and restart FRD, the default settings (RTMP over 1935) is applied again. So I have to re-set the plugin again...
