could there be a plugin for this site www.tvnz.co.nz this site has a lot of tv series to watch so can a plugin be done for this site

99% of stuff on that tv site is geo-blocked,
available only for New Zealand IPs...
Open (compromised) NZ HTTP proxies
are very hard to come across on the net;
free NZ VPNs are almost non-existent!
Adding to the above the obligatory
creation of an account to watch on-demand
programmes, I'd say it is quite a task for the
devs (who are Europe based, at least the majority
of them ) to create such a plugin...

As you might be aware, some of the TV shows
there are originally shown on UK's ITV, so you'd
have to settle for that...

EDIT: I was fortunate enough to find a NZ node
on the VPN Gate Network:

(IP=119.224.37.95, Auckland)

and connected successfully with OpenVPN
(and with good-ish speeds, too), but I still
couldn't get the site to play the vids;
it appears they are also ckecking (along with the IP)
the time settings on the machine (easily done with JS code),
found my non-NZ timezone and denied me
further playback (it could also well be they
are blacklisting VPN Gate) - see attachment...
I am not willing to change timezone/area settings
on my laptop just for this test, but thought I should
inform the devs about it, should they venture to
create a plugin for our friend barryz...

Unfortunately the geolocation requirement is non-starter, potential maintenance nightmare. So I personally decline the request, sorry.
