BBC radio iplayer

I am experiencing problems using FRD for BBC in Portugal again.

Worked fine last week, but now whenever I try downloading BBC radio progs the programme freezes and I get the "fatal error" message.

Any ideas?

I remembered about deleting 'tor-gb' directory, and now it works fine.

I used to be able to download TV files as well, but that has been scuppered by the BBC for quite a while. Any chance of a fix for that at some point?

Which method do you use? Internal tor proxy provided by plugin? VPN? Socks proxy via SSH tunnel?

The tor proxy provided by plugin is probably blocked. So you have to try another method.

FYI: BBC iPlayer viewers will need a TV licence to watch programmes online.

Yes I only use internal tor proxy provided by plugin. Wondered if unblocking was feasible by you clever techy guys?

Am in uk now and FRD downloads TV fine from BBCiPlayer - licence or no licence.
