WordRider works very slow in XP Black Crystal edition...

I've just installed the XP Black Crystal edition and I've tried to execute the WordRider and Oh My God...It works really slow...

I've checked that my version of Java is the right version (recently downoladed from the Java servers today) and I I've deactivated all my Anty-Spywares and Anti-Viruses to eliminate causes.

The CPU starts to work at 100% when I write a simple character and doesn't appear till 5 seconds have past.

I've got another XP installed in the same computer and it works fine just like always...

XP Black Crystal edition has the SP3 included but I don't think this can suppose an issue. This has to be the JAVA Virtual Machine...It has to be realted with Java. I will try to instal a former version (the 5 version to try to solve the problem).

Any suggestion?

Thanks for this program.

I have no idea what to do with this.
Maybe try to run WordRider from command line with this switch:
java -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true -jar wordrider.jar
or with this one:
java -Dsun.java2d.opengl=true -jar wordrider.jar
or with this one:
java -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false -jar wordrider.jar

XP Black Crystal is underground version...

It works!

Thank you very much...

EY!! The Windows XP Black Crystal is not (I think) an underground version...It has got the perfect skins to simulate that you have a MACOS LEOPARD or simply a Vista...And more COMPLETE skins but with the efficiency of the WXP. I had got a W2000 Professional since 2003 and I couldn't install some applications...

Thank you very much.

The first option.

You make well asking for this. I haven't checked the other options...I think that the least I could make for all your efforts could be check the rest of the options.

I will tell if the other options work fine.

Hi.

Vity, Jojari71, could you explain what I shoud do to apply a switch from the command line? I have Windows Vista.
I tried :

"C:\Users\GTL\Documents\ENIT\TI89\wordrider-0.8\wordrider.exe" /java -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true -jar wordrider.jar

Wordrider starts and says sth like "unable to found C:\java!".

I did it but I have no idea how to run Wordrider from command line with a switch (I don't know exactly what is a switch).

Thank you
