Is there an error message?

Could you attach the log file (Help > Browse to log file) after the problem occurs again?

Wow... Disabling antivirus? This is too risky. I can't let my PC without any protection during days (Internet speed is 2Mbs here so it takes days to have 10Go)
No other solution??

^^ Windows Defender (successor of MSE) in Win 8.1 doesn't seem to have any problem for me.
Perhaps you have specifically blocked some binary or something in your firewall ?

Is your java version up to date ?
Maybe you can try free Avast Anti-virus to check if there is a problem in MSE

other than that.. I dunno.. only devs can tell!

Welll.. I'm using windows 7
Nothing blocked on my FW... sad smiley
Yes Java up to date! V7 45 (build 1.7.0_45-b18)
Avast is a mess... I used it once and I had a lot of viruses on my PC sad smiley

Ok, thanks for help

On XP this is the last that works (I think) jre-7u60
On Win 8.1 current is jre-8u45

v7 - 45 sounds outdated to me IMO

Download -- Java Runtime Environment 32-Bit 8 Update 45

Yeah the last time I used Avast it also skipped some viruses :(
Maybe it has improved now ?

But I cannot recommend Avira.. cause then I couldn't install Malwarebytes Anti-malware (says something like its not compatible)
