FreeRapid + Nero Burning Rom = FreeRapid Crash

I use Nero at my work. Whenever i start Nero, burn some disc and exit Nero, FreeRapid crashes.

No error messages, just closing itself.

I used @#$%& some time ago, this problem happened and i want to try FreeRapid.

There is a hs_err_pid6332.log file, i just uploaded at: [kl1p.com]

Final Java version is installed. There is no other (older) versions.

My user have Administrator privileges.

Have you tried with 64 bit version of Java?

Installed Java 64 Bit, restart PC, started Nero, quit Nero, FR crashed again.

You are using Java 8u45? The 'hs_err' file means that the JVM crashed, which means that this sounds like a Java bug.

Which version of Nero are you using? Do you have to burn a disc and then close Nero to cause this error, or does it also happen if you just open Nero and then close it?

Also, do all Java programs crash this way? You can test by opening the Java Control Panel, which is a Java program.

Nero 16.0.11000 - jre1.8.0_45

I just open Nero and close, FreeRapid and that download program starts with J crashed. Even Java Control Panel itself...

There is no need to burn any disc. Just open program and close.

I installed the Nero 2015 (v16) trial and tested this in a virtual machine, and I can confirm that the bug is 100% reproducible. I will report this to Oracle. It will take months or years to resolve though, so you'll have to live with it for now.
