It is almost satisfactory except some minor things.
What I really want is a shortcut key for 'refresh proxy list' and a toggle button or a shortcut key that allows us to switch between 'using proxy' mode and 'default(no proxy)' mode.
I think that would make this application more useful for those who use proxies.

Usually i started the downloads then look at the average speed, and cancel the one with the slower speed.

Maybe you can add a feature, description for the file host.

In the description i can put the max speed of the file host, so when i add the download as pause i already know the speed.

The speed can be different when the plugin dev created it, so it's easier for each user to manually enter their max speed in the description. At the same time it has SERIOUS problems in functionality chart. For example:

1) Just an accidental hit of the Escape button (on the keyboard) completely destroys downloading in the line selected! No warning, no confirmation asked! And for many file hosts there is no way to recover that destroyed downloading...

2) The Cancel button in the front-end pretty often do the same. Or it deletes not only the record, but also the file which was successfully downloaded! Such strange functionality with extermination of the downloaded file is NOT inline with the definition of the word "Cancel". Not to mention that extermination of successfully downloaded file should be available with many warning notes and only as a separate, specifically mentioned operation (or even not available at all inside the program).

I can provide you with more bugs and suggestions.

8. Less items with better titles in right-click menu would improve ergonomics. I would like to enter captcha on my cell phone.

My idea:
- frd listens for http requests on chosen port
- if browser connects, a captcha that waits in frd is displayed (in a simple html markup, with input field)
- if entered, captcha is passed to frd and download starts
- automatic refresh would be good too
- maybe some authentication would be good too

This is the most simple approach I could imagine, but of course, some native app would be better, but should not be a problem for someone, if network API exists.

Is it possible to save in the HDD the description txt file even when the file is not downloaded (or not jet downloaded).
I saw that there is an export for multiple links, but I could not find a way to save/export the description in multiple text files, as it occurs when the download is completed.

If not, is there a way to fool FR by changing the list.xml file, so to force FR in saving the description in separate .txt files to HDD.

The reason is that some links are cancelled before downloading (or in other cases there is too much time to wait as in uploaded.to). I would like in any case to keep a record of these missing files in my HDD.

1) bottom status bar - bottom left has icons for clipboard monitoring and others + statisticas about speed.
On my Mac, the speed is not visisble because of lack of space even when in 1920x1080.
I'd like to suggest to move icons to far right, align right so statistics could use all ramaining space in left side

2) I'd love to see and keyboard shortcut to CANCEL (maybe command-shift-alt-C)
I have to use mouse to do this :(

3) OSX version (at least) has some problems with resuming downloads.
I have premium account on uploaded, so I start several simultaneous downloads, some of them stop and I cannot continue. I have to stop and start again (loosing all download) - that's why I ask for a shortcut (above).
When I retry (COMMAND+R) I got a "error - file name / size not found" error message. Cqan I help you to debug this ?
