Hit! It works again. It seems that also resumptions are possible (did check only one file however). Thanks a lot! I very much appreciate your effort.

if you meant to write uploaded.to instead of uploaded.net, then
yep. happens since quite some time. I didn't use uploaded.to much before, but lately often I am offered no other choice.

FRD version 0.86u1 , uploaded.to plugin version 2.0.10
Problem: often during downloads of large files connection gets disrupted; a 1GB file takes roughly 6+ hours to completely download, so in theory resumption is a nice feature to have instead of starting new.
If I try to resume a download UI says "Error starting download".

Hi,
I wonder if parallel downloads are possible with free .Rapidshare. I would like to download a DVD and it takes days to get finished one download at a time with a mounting risk that files get deleted on the the server before I am finished.
I know that RS has a policy to only allow one file at a time and thats exactly how it works with a browser.
Filepost.com has the same policy and als

hey, that's great, man!
I guessed it had to do with their introduction of german on their website and I deliberatly choose "English", when the failure occurred; however that didn't do the trick.
Thank you very much for your great help!

I guess they somehow changed the website again. Logfile attached.

ok, I think I unintentionally have been misleading: The link above I gave seems to work; that's why you probably couldn't reproduce the error; I posted it for your convenience.
However , usually I don't call the filepost link but instead I just copy the link on the referrer site into the clipboard and that's the link which actually is causing trouble:

unfortunately the error is 100% reproduceable on my system with the URL I posted.
(just checked again - same error message, same logfile entry). And in addition I also closed and restarted FRD this time. No difference.
In my estimation , some 5% of all files I am trying to download from filepost show this symptom.
Edit:
I also isolated the download, ie. paused all others for the c

Congratulations, you just have discovered a powerful hidden feature of FRD
Your statement is correct if you use a browser to download; there is no such wait time with FRD.

the message I get for the bigger part of the set is "Cannot download from service" after applying "Force Download"
and unfortunately the URL just keep sitting as queued as normal, instead of starting. That seems to be recursive.
Normally( with no error) , with filepost.com I have to wait from 30 to 90 seconds
Just play around with this example. Apply "Force Download" to the whole set o

I often download sets of related files from filepost.com, which is one of the hosters who allows parallel downloads. I would like to have a button in the "Insert new URL" pop-up window which allows for marking each file/URL I am adding for a forced download. Otherwise I have to step through the list of newly added URL and mark it for a forced download, one URL after the other. Can't do it by mark

FRD 0.86u1, filepost.com 1.04, OS XP SP3 , Browser Firefox 10.0.2
I have noticed this phenomenon lately with quite a few filesets representing DVDs. I mark the set in my browser and copy the set into FRD. Upon validation usually most, not all filenames, get shortened as can be seen in the FRD user interface.
Thus, if the first of now equally named files is downloading or downloaded , the rest
