Personally, I'd make great use of a Discovery.com video plug-in, even with Flashgot/DTA/Any combination of like programs, any time a streaming video or an unstable, usually corrupting download can be replaced with a stable, most likely to properly complete FRD download, it helps quite a lot on Dial-Up.

Though I realize the lack of interest as well as plugin developers puts anything of the sort on probably the lowest priority, especially with the recent increase in new filehosts making their rounds.
