Add a feature to maintain a list of proxy server's dnld history
and rank / connect them as per the best average speed

It can also start with one proxy and when finds another one faster it will switch over to another...
an option in UI to

[ x ] Automatically Switch to Faster Proxy (if not selected it won't switch )
[ x ] Switch to best rated Proxy only (if not selected it will switch to new fast proxy found which is not in our list)

this will save a lot much of time

well I don't think so easily possible -
let's have two proxies with id P1 and P2
P1 is downloading from Free Rapidshare with average speed 30kB/s
P2 is downloading from Netload.in with a average speed 300kB/s

now how would work your algorithm? badly! why? because it does not mean that P1 is slower. It can be faster! P1 is just limited with a speed of RS free.

I think you have to maintain a list of proxy,service,speed so that it will look up in the same service category ..

Both proxies and services can have variable speed during a day. Eg. storage.to is very fast at 6am and it's really slow at 6pm . Therefore I think that priorities for proxies has no sense. I thought about it many hours... .
What we need with proxies:
- reload button of proxy list (JDK7 will bring monitoring of file changes)
- remove invalid proxies from list
- save a list of active proxies

can you do one thing ?

add 'time taken','average speed', 'Service','Conection' in download history list ..

so that best proxy will be judjed / maintained manually ..

I hope i am getting at least a list of how much i mb downloaded by which proxy server ? (in next version )
rest i will manualy clean up all the proxy from the list which never got connected or never gave me reult...
(this can be automised, but if difficult to implement , i am happy with manual clean up)

please .... please ....
