getting links with no active user

Hi,
i'm looking for a way to run FRD on a server from home, and be able to send it links remotely, without the need to be at the physical mouse. most wanted is a monitored file (with links in it), or monitored directory (with each file within named as the link), as they are both suited for suing something like dropBox or SparkleShare to communicate the links. the mechanism will monitor, if it finds a new entry will take it, start automatically and clear it from the monitored location.

is there a way to do it today? is such a feature planned?

A web UI is on the long todo list, but it's very far away.

You can use something like TeamViewer or Windows' Remote Desktop, or some other VNC program.
