Possible Captcha WorkAround/Solution

With the obsessive use of captchas that many download sites are starting to use...it would be very beneficial if a plugin could be written that allows you to send the captcha image via sms to your phone and allow you to reply back on your phone with the code to start downloading. I'm not sure how complicated sending/recieving sms messages are but i know that you can send sms from an aim client to your phone for standard rates (which is free with unlimited texting plans)

You should consider adding global queue for captchas. Lets say every user has option to be online or away so when captchas appear on screen and user is away, that captcha is sent to global queue and captcha is entered by totaly diffrent user.

"Away" user loses 1 captcha point. User who entered captcha revives 1 point.

You enter captchas for other people and they do the same for you. Sounds simple but how hard this would be to implement?

Very hard.

It's a nice idea (I've thought of it too) but as said, it's way too complicated. It would have to be a whole another service.
