0.9 Problem (with files showing in FRD upon close / reopen)

Hi ... I had 0.86 before .. and had like hundreds downloaded files / links / items in my FRD ... and they were ALWAYS showing ...

Then i started using 0.9 ... and had / have about 10 or so files / links / items showing in it (so everything seemed normal)

But Narod's plugin wasn't working for a while in 0.9 .. and instead of downloading Narod directly from the browser, - i went to 0.86 to download from Narod (where plugin for it was working) :)

So i basically switched back and force between 0.86 and 0.9 for a while, until Narod plugin was fixed / adjusted for 0.9

Currently i am using 0.9 only basically .. as all needed plugins seems to be working :)

BUT,

I noticed this for a while now.... when i copy / put new download links / files in FRD 0.9 ... and download them .. everything seems normal with those items in FRD ... BUT if i am closing FRD .. and then re-open it when needed ... All those previously downloaded items are gone / not showing at FRD's main screen

Only about 10 or so items are showing there .. (from when i originally started to use FRD 0.9) .. but not all other, newer downloads?

What gives?

Maybe going back and force between 0.86 and 0.9 screwed it up somehow.. or?

Or what do i do to have them showing there again (all newer downloads), upon closing and reopening FRD?

Maybe i have to turn on some setting or feature?

By the way .. if I go to "View" / "Show History" ... --- all those newer downloads are showing there NO PROBLEM (I cleared my history recently... but since then i downloaded about 20 or so files ..and ALL of them are showing there in History .... BUT, however, not in Main FRD's interface .. (upon Close / Reopen FRD ... all new ones are NOT showing)

One more time, .. before everything was OK, concerning this issue .. and it stopped working properly just recently ..

Any help or comments are appreciated.

You shouldn't go back to use version 0.86.
Go to your FRD's config directory and delete this file:
filelist.xml
0.9 will work fine then again.

If Narod's plugin was working properly, however, i would not go to 0.86 for SURE, lol :)

Where is that FRD's config dir?

I opened my FRD 0.9's dir .. - that dir is not there..

then, just in case, i checked in my 0.86 and 0.85 dirs as well .. and that "config" dir is not there either...

Ah .. there ... i see

filesList.xml you mean ...

i see few of them there .backup etc.. - maybe i will get my old one to work yet (with 100s of files) :)

ya .. i got 100s of files back in FRD 0.9 now :)

Will try to download something now . and then close FRD and then Re-open it again .. and see if the new one will still be there :)

OK .. downloading some file now (from Narod by the way) ... but it happened to be large - 496 mb or so .. - so will be a while .. Not that long but a while..

Will report later here .. upon closing and re-opening the program :)

I downloaded that one.. Closed FRD .. Opened it again - and the latest one WAS NOT there ..

I guess cuz i renamed that other one (with 100s in it) to the file you told me to delete :)

So i deleted it too..

Reopened program.. - and had there .. everything 3 times for some reason..

Then delted something else..

And everything was there maybe 10 times or so .. HAHA
Each one i mean..

In any case.. I ended up deleting ALL of those xml files ...

and started FRESH basically .. nice and empty :)

Then just now i downloaded 1 file ... Closed FRD ..and RE-Opened it again.. - the item is still there!

SO i guess It's OK now :)

By the way .. for future software updates .. - can you implement the ability to Sort the items in FRD by something like "Time Added to FRD" or something like that.

Cuz that's how they go into my FRD .. and that's how i like 'em there ..

But if i were to sort them by Filename (say accidentaly, as i did one time) .. and then have 100s of items there .. - it's impossible to bring them back the way they were earlier (unsorted .. or actually sorted by Time Added to FRD" on their own) :)

If you were to add ability to be able to sort them by "Time Added to FRD".. - then say, if i were to mess up again, by accidentally hitting Sort by Name, for example.. - i can then simply choose to sort them by "time added to FRD" .. and have them all like they were before :)

Something like that ...

Or maybe simply to add option "Unsorted" .. where if one chooses it .. it would AUTOMATICALLY, by default .. sort all of those items by "Time Added to FRD" (the way i like 'em there basically)

Maybe it's easier that way...

The column has 3 states. Sorted asc , sorted desc, unsorted. Just press it 3x.
