Identify premium only links

Identify premium only links
December 18, 2012 01:56PM
Hello folks,

The blog that I use for downloading magazines has gone premium only (looks like it, at least majority of the links). I wonder if there is any way to figure out if the link is premium only before it goes into waiting and entering captcha?

Bonus question, does anyone have any favorite blogs/websites that they use for their fav. material.

Thanks in advance.

It depends on the service which you are downloading from. Check it with your browser. If you can identify premium-only links earlier, post some example links and we can tweak the relevant plugins.

depends upon the max size they allow for free users
some premium only links:-

extabit.com - 400 Mb max

[extabit.com]

ryushare.com [not sure of max limit]

[ryushare.com]

filefactory.com - 500 Mb max

ExtaBit plugin updated to support that error message. The other two plugins already support the correct errors.

mm I guess FRD could be improved if it simply refuses to accept such premium only links.. unless you login into your premium account.
But then again some users will say it ain't working :p

There's no way to download such links without premium, so the best FRD can do is to throw an error.

true.. but I'm saying if it somehow tests links in the input window itself.. it will save time.

I think the behavior should be consistent with other errors, such as "file is not available anymore". smiling smiley

****

Thats exactly what I was getting at.

At Rapidgator, the link takes its own sweet time and then makes you enter captch a couple of times before throwing you an error.

For example,
[extabit.com]

[rapidgator.net]

[ryushare.com]

All these links are 'premium members only'. and the size of this pdf is 1.5mb

I prefer consistency with other errors as already said.

ExtaBit plugin updated to support that error message.

Now all those three plugins work as intended for those links.
