pause downloading download

is there a way to pause a download thats already started downloading halfway?

No. 90% of free services does not support it. For the rest of it we plan to include such support.

I was downloading a few megaupload files but sometimes my wireless broadband network randomly disconnects or maybe the files on freerapid thats downloading randomly fails like halfway...kinda wastes bandwidth...so whenever that error happens I have to use bitcomet to restart and finish the download since bitcomet allows pausing and resuming that error where I cant pause and resume downloads doesn't happen.

are there any plans on the creators to add a download pause feature? so that i can pause the download when it reaches 20-80% complete and resume later on?

Sometimes yes, ...for the rest 10%.
