Proxy

I have try to use some socks proxy.
I put it on my txt with other proxy, FRD understood this socks (cause 1080port), but i have error:
" ERROR - SOCKS: authentication failed ". I't not my socks proxy, but i use it on firefox without any authenrication... so i don't know what should i add to my proxies.txt in line.

Any help or advise?

Does the log file contain something? Help > Open log file

java.net.SocketException: Reply from SOCKS server has bad version

Is it possible to post the address of the proxy so I could try it myself? That way I could debug it much easier.

Thanks for PM. I tested it and could reproduce the issue. The problem is that the proxy does require authentication – but it accepts any user name. I tried an empty name and it worked.

If you are using this proxy as the default connection, just check the "Proxy Authentication" box and leave the login fields empty. If you are using a proxy list, use a line like this (where "user" can be anything, for example just "user"):

$SOCKS$user@123.123.123.123:1080
