High CPU usage when Maximized

High CPU usage when Maximized

Thanks again for a great program, just a little suggestion

The program usually works very well & draws less than 1% of one CPU
core when the programs window is minimized,
but when you open/maximize the program's window it draws ridiculous
amounts of CPU, between 20-100% of one CPU core. (on Windows XP)

There must be some serious mistakes in the programming causing
this, or is this behavior because the program is written in java ?

Could this be fixed, for example if you let people choose how often
the program refreshes the programs window on the screen ?

If you for example let people choose between a refresh rate of something like every
100 millisecond to 2000 millisecond could you then get the program
to work better & use less CPU power when the programs window is
maximized/open ?

Could this be fixed in the next version of the program, so that it is possible
to setup the program (FRD), so it always is using below a maximum of 5%(or so)
of one CPU core ?

It depends on many things.
- if you have directx draw hardware acceleration enabled properly
- how many links you have in the queue
- your screen resolution

It has nothing to do with Java.

I don't plan such feature. You can always minimize it.
