Not enough disk space -- free disk space check

Hello guys,

hey, we are grown, we can manage our disk space ourselves, not need to hold our hands winking smiley.

Please, could you add option for disabling this annoying check, so I can start my downloads even if I don't have enough space on my disk at the time? (During long downloads, my free space fluctuates anyway, so I see no reason, why I should have the space at the beginning of download - I can manage to free up space on my disk on the way).

Anyway, your application is AWESOME and you've done admirable jobs... Thank you.

Tom

Free space check is usable for most of users. Warning for 30MB or less I consider as appropriate.

You can add this value to startup.properties to disable free space check:

-DminDiskSpaceMB=0

Thanks for quick reply, but perhaps we didn't understand each other. What I'm talking about is this scenario:

- I want to start new download, 4GB file
- I have only 3.9GB free space on my disk at the moment
- download doesn't start and error message appear: "ERROR - Not enough space on disk XXX"

The download should start and let me free disk space while downloading. But it doesn't.

Your advise (-DminDiskSpaceMB=0) doesn't work.

My environment: GNU/Linux OS 64 bit, Debian ditr., FRD 0.9u4, JRE 1.7.

Thank you.

Tom

At this time it's not possible to turn off this check. The fastest solution for your problem is here:
