DPI scaling? 4k resolution app too tiny?

Hi,

This is a thread i would like to be in the intention of the devs.

It is a great app and i have used it for a few years so great work.

But can i just say that i am now unable to use the app on a 4k desktop resolution since i got a 4k tv i use as my monitor and the only way i can use the Free rapid downloader is if i change my desktop resolution beforehand.

If i dont change the resolution and have it at 4k the free rapid downloader app is basically unusable because all the menu buttons are basically tiny and can not read them what so ever.

So i am asking if you can fix this so that you can see the menu buttons and buttons on a 4k resolution.

Thanks

Agree. Even on on my FullHD laptop with 15" monitor sometimes it is not easy to read some commands.

In the next version you will be able to increase UI default font size.

Java 9 should also bring some sort of support for HiDPI: [bugs.openjdk.java.net]

Sorry for the late reply.

When will the new version be available though?

I am still waiting for this to happen. I really need to be able to keep my desktop in 4k resolution. I can not use FRD without either changing my desktop resolution or using magnifier!

Thanks

[wordrider.net]
and add line
-DfontSize=14
to startup.properties

Where is the startup properties?

I already downloaded the 1.0 beta version. I can not find start up properties in the preferences screen or any other screen, there is no option for it?

it's located in the FRD's root directory.

Ok thanks, I found the file you meant, it was in the free rapid folder lol.

I added this line instead of font size 14, I made it 24, and that is perfect :)

Thanks soo much :)

Appreciate it
