confused smileyIs there an operational difference between Win 7 and XP?

FreeRapid is an absolute great product! Starting using a few months ago on an XP based PC. Worked flawlessly. Set my max download connections to 9 and used clipboard monitoring. If I copied a set of files/links greater than 9, the first 9 links would immediately connect (if the links were still valid of course) and start to download. Often setup dozens of links and let it run overnight. A few weeks ago I installed 7 on my PC and immediately installed FreeRapid. However now if I start multiple downloads (example 20), the first 9 links show "Getting" but normally only 1 or 2 actually begin to download. Often the others keep timing out and have to restart the process. Tried changing options but nothing seems to help. It just doesn't work as nicely as in XP. Is there something I'm doing incorrectly to initiate multiple downloads?

The same thing on my win7 64 bit. if I start multiple downloads at the same time only one will start the rest just sit there "Getting". what I have to do is add them paused and manually start them one at a time a few seconds apart.
To bad I can't set it up to delay a few seconds between starting each download. I'm sure that would fix my problem!

Just set up a x86 win 7 box and it does the same thing. So I think maybe there is a difference between win 7 and xp!
Is there anybody using win 7 that does not have this problem?

Many people tested FRD on Win7 without any problems.

Well it is working, just not that good.
I have to start each download individually. or they simply don't start!

Of course I don't know how these thing are done . But it seems like it would be easy to have the downloads not all start at the exact same moment. This is what I am doing manually and it allows my TWO windows 7 setups to work with FRD.
And as long as I am doing each one manually than Firefox addon "Linkification" works just as well with my RS prem. acct.

Hi.
My downloads are only 20kb / s in Windows 7 even though my ADSL connection to be
2MB.
When using Windows XP was 200kb / s. Something I can do to resolve
this problem?
