Where does frd keeps backup of file with all the of him.

Sorry to ask the same thing again because it has been more than 2 weeks and anwser from anyone, but it is all that I wish to know.

Because its is not to much to ask.

Ok now I see, soo it realy means that all links that I have where gone for good when I change only Operation Sistem.

Because the frd does not save the links inside his own folder but in this area users\my user name\AppData\Roaming\FRD


Sorry I really like very of your work, and program but is a limitation, that cost me more than 13.000 off link off downloads.

@#$%& has a trust full work and more his creator is more explanatory, no offense but I done here.

It's quite silly not to backup Application Data when swapping OS, because that's where apps are actually supposed to save their settings.

Also, FRD is only designed to handle around a few hundred links max.

And backup the AppData its not on the FAQ, And I hava in one year change two times of OS and for first time that do not happen.


I test up the max of it because frd for sure dealt more than 10.000 thousand links of mine and I have done it for more than a year do soo.

Soo it can be say that on readme.txt on doc folder of frd it is writing

Installation
------------
Unzip files to any of your directory, but beware special characters (like '+' or '!') on the path.
If you make an upgrade to higher version, you can delete previous installation folder. All user
settings are preserved, but it's recommended to backup them.
All user settings are saved in home directories:
MS Windows: c:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER_NAME\application data\VitySoft\FRD

Add this info too even links saved on frd.

So to make this app portable I would have to take the appdata with me.
I like to take my usb flash drives with me so I have my Firefox w/bookmarks etc with me when I'm else where.
It sure would be nice if this fine app was made easier to be portable.

I think it actually has a --portable switch, also documented in readme.txt.
