FreeRapid 0.85's log is 9.86 GBs!

Wondering why I was getting low on disk space, I scanned my C drive with TreeSizePro and was amazed to see that the file:

app.log

in C:\Program Files\FreeRapid-0.85-build555

is taking up an incredible 9.86 GBs - yes, GIGAbytes of space.

Can it be deleted without messing up all the links loaded into FreeRapid and how can I confine the log to a more sensible size in future?

FreeRapid is a truly great program but I doubt that it really needs a log that big.

You probably enabled advanced debug logging in your startup.properties file.

I don't know what advanced debug logging is anymore than I know where the startup.properties file is, so unless its enabled in XP SP3 by default I doubt that's the problem.

Oh, you mean FreeRapid's startup.properties file.

Well, it says:

but I don't know how to use command lines, so I didn't alter it.

EDIT: I closed FreeRapid, deleted the 10 GB app.log and the program created a new app.log file that was 786 kb.

Two hours later it's grown to 132MB!

I think this is how it should read?

We forgot debug logging on in 0.85. You can disable it by commenting the line out (as you posted above).
