Configuration question about "syscmd.properties" in FreeRapid

When I try using the auto shutdown option I get "System command "shutdown" is not supported or defined on this system. Check your settings in the file "syscmd.properties".

If you are a Linux user, you have to update commands accordingly.

What a nice attitude you got there. These are the users we really want to help, right?

Instead of dissing the creator of the program, maybe you should tell us a bit more of you configuration. Your OS for example.

We can't read your mind, and unless you tell us the info needed, we can't really help.

hahah. u got owned Vity, get over it .

jk .

Well , i have a problem with system shutdown and application restart commands. Never got it working :(

OS is Fedora 10 - 11 - 12 (got'em all :) 1 netbook, 1 server, 1 workstation )
wrote a script for shutdown. I want to run it for shutdown process. Not working :( .

shutdown=sh /home/xxx/shtdwn.sh

also, tried 3 different set of commands for application restart, never got it working either ...

restart_application=java -jar %DIR%/frd.jar %ARGS%

restart_application=java -jar /home/xxx/RapidDownloader/FreeRapid-0.83u1/frd.jar

restart_application=sh /home/xxx/rapid.sh

A little push in right direction would mean a lot.
Thanks in advance.

I need to see your app.log file after the restart fails
I also recommend you to set restart_application to .sh script inside FRD directory - it adds more JVM parameters.

Here it is. Hope it helps.

And btw, i did not understand why .sh script goes into FRD directory. Can you explain a little bit more?

The log has nothing to do with a problem you describe....
