That's obviously related to CDN system (akamai, limelight, etc) which is used by Hulu. If I use my ISP DNS server, it will provide the nearest node. That's not the case if I use google DNS, it will probably provide US node.

I also noticed that if I use google DNS server (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) sometimes I get slow transfer speed (< 8 KBps) on average. That problem never happen if I use my ISP DNS server, I always get max transfer speed on average. I haven't tried other DNS server.

I guess we could change it to 1935, as that's the default RTMP port.

I originally set it to 80 because I think the Hulu SWF player defaulted to that, though it also tries 1935 and 443.

Okay, plugin v1.2.1 uses port 1935.

I'm not sure if this only happen to me. Using port 80 in hulu plugin, doesn't work for me. It works (rebuild the plugin from source) if I use port 1935.

hulu has changed their website completly and now the hulu plugin dose not work
I am using .86u1
the plugin version is 1.1.10

Looks like they changed the internal URL's to new.hulu.com, nothing can be captured. This appears to NOT be on everything yet... Cinematic TItanic, Strangers With Candy, Rev. for sure.
