The request to establish a connection between FRD on your computer and depfile.com is refused,
it could be depfile, routing, proxy, country, ISP, time of day, or even computer settings causing the error.
The provided test link works fine for me, throughout testing I've never received this error for depfile

Plugin updated to display a different error message
but as I said in my original response

I reliably get "ERROR - Connection refused: connect" about 60-70% of the time. No amount of clicking Resume has any impact. If it's not the plugin, then what is the problem? It's to the point that I'm back to using (insert pointlessly obfuscated download manager here) -- which I rather dislike.

Update: Sometimes I also get the original error (linked in that screenshot).

NullPointerException is prevented in latest plugin
Connection refused: connect this error is not from the plugin

Note: Updated/New plugins require the latest version of FRD 0.9u4

I updated, but it's still not functional.

Sometimes I get "ERROR - Connection refused: connect". Other times it actually throws a java error, such as this one:

app.log attached. Thanks for the help.

PS. Just to make sure we're clear: other plugins are working fine.

don't use "--debug".

restart FRD first to clear the log file
when the error occurs it generates details in the app.log automatically
to find app.log -- "help > browse to log file"

How do I generate an app.log?

FRD's Depfile plugin has been failing for the past couple weeks. The error is always the same. I have attached a screenshot including the error.
