First I want to thank developers for providing this plugin.

The plugin works fine as an unregistered user, but only a SD version of a video is available for unregistered users. When I put credentials to the plugin configuration (preferred quality remained 1080) video is downloaded without any issue but still only SD version and in the log there is error messages:

SEVERE: Status code je 500
WARNING: Error getting playlist for: 720p (2300 kbps)
SEVERE: Status code je 500
WARNING: Error getting playlist for: 1080p (3300 kbps)

When I play the video in a browser I clearly see higher resolution in comparison to downloaded one thus its obvious HD version is available.

FRD ver 0.9u4
Plugin ver 2.3.7
Java ver 8.0u231
Windows

Problem FIXED by installing latest Java 8 version, which uses TLS 1.2 by default.
Do not use Java 7 or 6 on iprima.cz!

Maybe FRD is not supporting TLS 1.2?

If you are refering to this fictional TV character :S,
then, despite what my username may suggest (!),
I'm not actually a fan of that TV show :P ;
so I have no clue whether your comment has positive
or negative (I much doubt it) connotation ;-) !

iprima.frp v1.5.0 was installed and successfully tested >:D<
Very nice job indeed and at such short notice :)-D

The main reason I asked for 720p over HLS was
that HLS is considerably faster than RTMP
for the same video resolution - I'm confident Czech
users will appreciate this enhancement much more
than I :-P

Well, I tried again my sample link posted previously here.

Selecting RTMP/HD/1935 in the iprima plugin,
FRD downloads a 1280x720p FLV file (78.4 MiB ).

OTOH, selecting HLS/HD,
FRD fetches a 854x480p TS file (52.6 MiB ).

However, I have already demonstrated in the
"EDIT2" addendum of my linked post that it is
possible to download "manually" via HLS
a 1280x720p TS file (actually sized 85.3 MiB ).
Tried it again right now while posting

The workaround looks very useful, especially when similar case will become (i'm guessing). I'd never used Firefox - now good reason to start B)

I'm sure it'll be an easy task for tong2shot to fix the iprima plugin,
but until that is accomplished, why don't you try a bit of manual work
instead of drowning in a teaspoonful of water:

You can use Mozilla Firefox and its "web console" (CTRL + SHIFT + K)
as a simple URL sniffer to sniff for the AppleHLS
playlist URL; use "playlist.m3u8" (without the quotes)
as a search filter (to be typed inside the "Filter output" input field - on the right).
I am outside the Czech Republic, so full-length programmes
are not available to me, but this short clip is:

Using the above method I got:

The token is unique for me and short-lived - you have to sniff your own .m3u8 URL...

Then that URL is downloadable easily by FFmpeg:

ffmpeg -i "http://bcastnw.livebox.cz/iprima_token/_definst_/Prima-1410221335-53294_500.mp4/playlist.m3u8?auth=_any_|1442992925|18537cb522dd32d944a5b6d3bd86542228e82bd3" -c copy videoclip.ts

If you so wish, you can losslessly remux to the MP4 container:

ffmpeg -i "videoclip.ts" -c copy -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc -f mp4 "videoclip.mp4"

Media info report of final MP4 file is attached -
so is a screenshot of it being played back :-)

EDIT1: Added some usage info for Fx's web console,
although that (and more) can be easily found via
your favourite search engine - other browsers, too,
also contain equivalents for the web console, usually
under their dev tools sections...

EDIT2: If the on-line web player by default streams LQ/HQ,
then, having the web console still open, select manually HD (if available)
and then sniff/choose the playlist containing the string "_1500.mp4", e.g.

http://e4.ivs.livebox.cz/iprima_token/_definst_/hq/Prima-1410221335-53294_1500.mp4/playlist.m3u8?auth=_any_|1443132840|669e42b3e2452bad21457f205077e159815ebc7c

The above playlist will fetch a 1280x720p file, overall bit rate ~ 2500 Kbps

@ifox: I can comfirm you have found - iprima is keeping 0% regardless which protocol/port is selected, no error, no message.
Tried at 20:00 CEST (Sep 22)
Web on line works (including the boring advertisments).
I would be very glad if you tried to fix it, please........

Today (Sep 22), both RTMP and HLS stopped working, all ports. Tested on 2 computers.
Viewing streams online through web browsers is OK.

I tried the link from pozoun - it downloaded a small video file containing message "Došlo k chybě, zkuste to prosím později". Even in the web browser, the video is not available now, so it is a problem of the Prima TV, not the plugin itself. Other videos from that site are ok.

Hello!
I again noticed problems with iprima - using 1.4.2. Tying to download
http://play.iprima.cz/vrazdy-v-midsomeru/vrazdy-v-midsomeru-x-38

Plugin is set o HLS, ay quality - I got short ts file with the sentence in czech language: "Error occurred, try please later"

Similar result is with setting RTMP, any quality, preferred ports 1935 ad 80 - I got small file 38 bytes with NULLs. With port 443 the download failed.

Could I ask You for help?

I use Java 1.6.0.45 (latest v6).

EDIT: I tried youtube plugin with the same result - settings not saved (although the XML file updates the last modify time stamp, so the folder has access). Maybe problem with my Java version? I have choosen v6, because newer versions (7, 8) consume much more memory on my old PC.
I try to post it as a bug report in FRD thread (http://wordrider.net/forum/7/16498).

EDIT2: It was really a Java 6 problem. I upgraded to 1.7.0.80, everything is alright now.

Please try plugin v1.4.1.

I can't reproduce the issue, the plugin tested with JRE 1.7.0_80 and JRE 1.8.0_45, both on Linux (Ubuntu).

If the problem persists, please attach app.log and iPrimaSettings.xml. What version of Java are you using?

I tried it on my other computer with the same result now.

Default is RTMP, HD, port 1935.
Changed it to HLS, HD, port greyed out.
Quit FRD
Ran FRD again
Iprima settings was back to default

Works fine for me. Is there anything in the log (Help->Browser to log file)? Your iprima plugin settings file (iPrimaSettings.xml) probably got corrupted, in that case the file will be created with default settings.

There is one glitch in the plugin 1.4.0 - the RTMP/HLS preferences aren't saved, so when I select HLS and restart FRD, the default settings (RTMP over 1935) is applied again. So I have to re-set the plugin again...

Download HLS over port 80 OK
Video format: TS (was FLV over RTMP) OK
Video size: 640x480px, the same as HD download over RTMP.

Okay, iPrima plugin v1.4.0 supports HLS. There is no HD stream in HLS unfortunately.

Although the Nirsoft rtmpdumphelpher utility has a menu option to set another port (80/443) for rtmpsrv or rtmpsuck, the server always uses port 1935. I have explored the command line options of these utilities and there is no port settings available. So it does not work for me.

Some data contradict others, I can't find a solid conclusion for this issue.

Maybe you can try rtmpsrv+rtmpdump, or if you're using windows OS it's easier with rtmpdumphelpher : [www.nirsoft.net] +rtmpdump. Those tools don't work for me with port 80, but maybe work for you.
