Hi, FRD Version - 0.9u4 Youtube plugin version : 2.9.16 Sample Link: [www.youtube.com] There are 2 problems with the youtube plugin: Problem 1: For most of the links these days, including this link, the download just does not start immediately with the error message : "ERROR - Player js url not found" I need to press resume multiple times before the download starts. Problem 2: For some videos, including this link, the 'Preferred Quality Level of highest available' does not seem to work. This link is a 1080p video but on this setting - 'Preferred Quality Level of highest available', FRD is downloading a 640 x 360 video. My problem is not solved.

The new YT Plugin 2.9.17 is not automatically downloaded to my FRD.
When I tried manually download it from 'Help', I always get the message,

In almost all of the links, I keep getting the message - "ERROR - Player js url not found" - and FRD will not download the link without resuming teh downloads 4-5 times.

Youtube have withdrawn the standalone 720p HD streams for most of their copyrighted content, only the standalone 360p variant remaining available...

The higher resolution variants (480p/720p/1080p+) are of the MPEG-DASH format, whereby two separate media streams (1 video + 1 audio) are being served to the client... You have to explicitly enable the DASH streams inside the yt plugin's options to fetch these...
