As you only have a day left for the mentioned link, get yourself ‘Radio Downloader’ it works.
It will download the program as a .flv (55mb) from that it creates a .wav (500+mb!) which it converts into a .mp3 (53mb) the finished mp3 file will be saved into a folder in your ‘My Documents’.

The flv downloads to a temp folder and the .wav is created within this, both are deleted by the software.
C:\Documents and Settings\[login name]\Local Settings\Temp\RadioDownloader

This is a strange one, rtmpdump downloads it correctly but our Java implementation does not, even though they do everything in the same way.

This happens with all BBC radio streams? And not with TV streams, or streams from other sites?

Although the iPlayer downloads work for TV they don't seem to work for radio shows:
