Simple backend interface for programmers

Hello *,

Would not be interesting to add simple backend interface to FRD so that external programs/scripts can use FRD to automate download process.
There should be possiblity to do at least this:

* add, remove, validate and manipulate links in current playlist
* start & stop downloading

I'm not sure how/if this can be, I need it for this purpose:

1.) I got a list of links to download
2.) I dont want to download same links, so I check the links i've previosly downloaded ("download list" and "broken list" and remove them from list
3.) I start downloading, links that are successfully downloaded are moved to "downloaded list" so I dont download them twice.
4.) Broken and unable to download links are moved to "failed list", in case of content was removed to "broken list"
5.) I goto 1.)

I'm not sure how to get nearby this with current FRD and not to have all that links that i've downloaded over the years in the current down list

Can you somehow point me in the right direction ?
I would really like to discuss my possibilities

Best Regard,

As you can see, there are already many requested features from other people before you. 'Programmers' is not FRD target user group.
Added on very long request feature list..
