You should add a startup delay in FRD (up to 5 minutes maybe). FRD if it starts alone is pretty quick but if it is starting with the OS and all the other processes it takes him forever and it slows down everything else. It's not FRD's fault. Simply your comp is slow ;-).

Make your own frd.bat -
sleep 5
call frd.exe
