Yes, JRE 1.8 /Java 8 (now in version 8u65, released on Oct 20, 2015)
is NOT COMPATIBLE with WinXP (itself EOL'd by Microsoft).
However, previous JRE 1.7/Java 7 is the last major version with

Thanks for your reply, but did you actually test
"slimerjs-0.10.0pre.zip" on Linux-64bit having
installed previously the 64bit flavour of Fx 42.0:

Well, I'm not trying to confuse ordinary FRD users,
but since I am running FRD with the "-p"
argument/switch (semi-portable mode), my "plugins"
folder is indeed inside FRD's main (installation) folder.

Nice job tong2shot !
If I understood this correctly, SlimerJS is a Gecko browser
simulation approach for FRD,

Hi
If you are refering to this fictional TV character ,
then, despite what my username may suggest (!),
I'm not actually a fan of that TV show ;
so I have no clue whether your comment has positive
or negative (I much doubt it) connotation !

There's absolutely no need whatsoever for apologies...
Most people here already know that
creating/maintaining FRD plugins is done by

Hello
Your sample link works fine for me; see attachment
1. Make sure you are on the latest "mega.co.nz" plugin (v1.0.10)
2. Upgrade your JRE to the latest version for your OS;
for WinXP: 7update39 (or 40) (End-of-Lived)
for WinVista+: 8update60
If still no go, post an app.log that

@ifox & @pozoun :
I'm sure it'll be an easy task for tong2shot to fix the iprima plugin,
but until that is accomplished, why don't you try a bit of manual work
instead of drowning in a teaspoonful of water:

Hi
Unless there's been a drastic change internally,
I feel it's not necessary to downgrade to iprima.frp v1.4.2;

Hi, and as ever, many thanks to the devs for
their constant contributions towards keeping this
project alive...
My issue:
I tried to download the following ITV show:
Vicious - Se2Ep3
I am outside the UK, so itv.frp made use of the Tor plugin;
after a wait of several seconds, the FLV video file started
downloading at great speeds (end filename: "Vicious - S02E03.flv"),

If you find a working VPN, remember it may be
necessary to change the rtmpport to 443 in
