I have tried turning off other applications whilst downloading links but FRD still freezes part way through ALL downloads of more that 4 parts to the list in a series -- with a message referring to " Fatal error due to Java stack". Also not all copies to the clipboard are recorded in FRD, have to paste manually into window. As from last week all my downloaded files have the "extension" .001, .002 etc and I cannot unRAR them! What happened to FRD to suddenly do this? Have I accidentally changed something? OK thanks, but does that mean I must delete my existing links ( 89 of them) and re-load them all over again? Shame that in Options, one can't select a new directory--even off-line. I tried deleting the program and "re-installing" but it "remembers" the previous directory--last night I lost 50 downloads because of low disk space---DAMN !by hulland - FreeRapid Downloader - General
Thanks debug for an excellent and fast reply--Yes, I am running XP Pro SP3, but it is the "Performance edition" really fast OS. and the Task Scheduler may have been removed (?). Will need to investigate further... Unfortunately when I follow your recommendations I get a long error code which tells me not authorised.
