If you have installed PreOS and TxtRider correctly then you have to simply write txtrider() in the Home-Main. ENTER. There is nothing else to do.by Vity - WordRider General
I don't see a problem. You can try Hibview, TxtRider is older.by Vity - WordRider General
And did you install PreOS?by Vity - WordRider General
You have to use one of the viewer in the calculator (Hibview/uView/TxtRider). See and Vityby Vity - WordRider General

Hello azn_mick, I'm sorry, but there is no existing way how to print or export your text files. You can copy&paste text to another program, but you'll loose text formatting. Vity WordRider developerby Vity - WordRider General
Hello Richard, it looks like problem described here: I have never met such this problem, because I own old TI-89 variant with a serial link. I would recommend you to try to move files with TiLP. It's an alternative to TI Connect. It may help. -Vityby Vity - WordRider Bugs

PreOS is installed on TI as you can see in flash tutorial. 3. i connect the TI-89 tittanium on my pc (prior to this i have alredy installed TI connect) OK. 4. i follow the flash tutorials and i act accordingly. I am not sure if I understand you well. You have already downloaded WordRider 0.8 version (why do you write 0.8alpha in the subject?) and installed Java 1.6_02. Then simply run wordrider.exe - it will find java.exe and run WordRider.jar. That's all. Vityby Vity - WordRider General

Hello RKapps, can you provide more information? Installed PreOS version, your calculator type and AMS version?by Vity - WordRider General
You should ask people on some bigger forums see . I use Ti89 and I like it .by Vity - WordRider General
Hello dnanar, could you please try to run it with parameter debug? 'java -jar wordrider.jar -debug' Paste me the output, i'll try to explore more from it. Another option is to install Java 1.6_01 from Sun's pages. () (Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u1) It might help. You're first who mentioned problem on Linux. Anything is possible. It looks like dead-lock during start...by Vity - WordRider Bugs
I probably found a reason. Your file is not pure 89t, but 89g (group file format - 89t is described in this file). The latest version of AMS seems to stop to support a simplification of the TI-89 file format for a single variable. Unfortunately WordRider does not support this group file format yet (it's planned for the next version). You can try to do following: Run TiLP, select some WordRiderby Vity - WordRider Bugs
Thank you for your cooperation. I'll inspect it tommorow (=today) morning. I'm already too tired today, here is 2:25AM . I guess we are getting closer to solution.by Vity - WordRider Bugs
Hmmmms. Yet another idea: Try to create 89t in the calculator - press APPS button, then 8 (Text editor), 3 (New...) type variable name and a few characters. After that move the variable (file) via TI Connect into your comp and upload it here please. Maybe they made some changes in the specification of variable in the newest version of OS. Try to send that file back too. Your problem has to haby Vity - WordRider Bugs
I checked it, you missed one star in the header. Please try to send demo file (it's included in this post as attachment) I still hope that there is problem with header.by Vity - WordRider Bugs
Hmmms. That's weird. Can you send me the file? (admin@wordrider.net) I'll try to analyze it. You can also try to use TiLP utility (]) for sending files. Thanks Vityby Vity - WordRider Bugs
Hello hdofu, Try to open and save generated file with TI-Graph link. I'm not sure if TI-Graph link is present in TI Connect X distribution on MacOS. You can also try to use some hex editor and change first bytes in the file from '\*\*TI92P\*' into '\*\*TI89\*\*' or '\*\*TI92\*\*'. I hope it helps. Please write me back if it will help to you. Hi Heikor, I am sorry, I don't know. Try to contact author of Hibview atby Vity - WordRider General
Hi Dean, there are these steps: 1. PreOS installation - it's a kernel OS, required by Hibview and sometimes TxtRider because of AMS patching. 2. 89t viewer installation - you have to choose if you want to use TxtRider or Hibview or uView (I prefer Hibview, it's the most powerful, but it's buggy and sometimes it crashes). 3. Copy text files and use Hibview to view them. You can see a tutoriby Vity - WordRider General

Hi Dean, I know Dia a bit. Here you can find a short tutorial how to install and use it : Use File->Export and save it as a bitmap picture (PNG, BMP, JPG, GIF), then open such picture in WordRider as in WordRider tutorial was shown. >> Later I was able to send the file to my TI-89 but I can not open it up on the TI-89. You can use anything. MS Excel or Open Office . Alt+'Print Screen'-> (crop big image in Paintbrush) -> Ctrl+shift+p in WordRider. Can be it simpler? Filter description:by Vity - WordRider General
