KeyCaptcha
February 07, 2013 04:21PM
I've been fighting with the KeyCaptcha plugin for a few days now but I still can't get it to work. I've made sure it does everything just as a browser does, but still nothing – the server just responds with "wrong answer" even though it's correct.

It could also be something trivial which I've overlooked...

If somebody wants to check it out and try to resolve it, feel free to.

Just guessing - did you compare it to wireshark? Also FRD is using older client http-agent. Try to update it.

I compared the requests with Fiddler: [fiddler2.com]

I also just double checked all the request parameters from the JS. Everything seems correct.

Even tried with the User-Agent of my browser which is known to work, but it didn't change anything. (I've never come across a site that blocks us by User-Agent.)

Please check the latest committed code.

Awesome, it seems to work now! thumbs up So the sign4 parameter was wrong after all.

Now we just need automatic recognition. smiling smiley Some sites use the older square pieces and some use puzzle pieces. The recognition doesn't work for the latter. Also, there is the mouse location logging -- I'm not sure if that's necessary for passing the captcha.

*sigh*, another issue... Not with KeyCaptcha, but with LinkCrypt.ws. The server doesn't let past the captcha even though it's correct. Dummy requests are performed just like a browser. I tried changing the user agent and adding dummy cookies, but still nothing. You can check it if interested.

The rapidgator's download manager issue was resolved by birchie.

As for linkcrypt, I tested a while ago but no luck. I'll post when I get positive result.
