Trouble downloading of the BBC iPlayer

Hi,

Has anyone else had issues downloading off the BBC iPlayer? Every link I want to save, I paste into the box and I get an error message in the download information strip that just says ERROR and has the iPlayer link beside it. I have the latest version of the software and I have updated the plugins too but nothing has helped.

Any advice or info would be appreciated.

BBC iPlayer plugin v1.1.3 works fine for me.

Are you using the latest version (plugin v1.1.3) ?

Please post example link and attach app.log.

How do I download that? I clicked 'check for new plugins' but the software told me I was up to date.

It means that iPlayer is not available in your country.

The reason why you didn't see this error previously is that FRD automatically used an external service to bypass geographical restrictions. Unfortunately this service now requires registration and login.

Thank you ntoskrnl. Really bad news. Anything I can do? Is it possible to register to that service or, in short now you can't download from iPlayer using FRD?

Yes, you can register. The service is called Tunlr: [tunlr.net]

However, you'll have to follow the instructions on their page to enable the service on your computer because the FRD plugin was disabled for now.
