Couldn't create fir in /.FRD
September 24, 2014 04:38PM
Hi,
I'm using Linux. I'm having problem with Freerapid showing warning "PM WARNING: Couldn't create fir /home/xxx/.FRD". I don't know why. Could someone help me with this? I don't know if this is plugins problem.

thanks.

This is a known issue. There is actually no error. The message will be removed in the next version.

oh? I thought it might have error cause it didn't catch any links I copied. "Paste from clipboard" button didn't work like it would normally did. Nothing get copied.

Sorry, I think I know now why Freerapid didn't catch that link even when I clicked "Paste from clipboard" button. The links I'm trying to download are using "https://" instead of using normal "http://". The same also happen with mediafire links that are using "https://"

We can fix the plugins so that they accept https links as well if you post which plugins we should fix. smiling smiley

1. Mediafire plugins
2. normal links plugins. Doesn't seem like FreeRapid have plugins for Mangabox but FreeRapid did able to catch the links before it started using https.

thank you.

MediaFire plugin v3.2.2 supports HTTPS links.

Can you post an example Mangabox link that works and one that does not?

nevermind with the 2nd request. My stupidity, I forgot the option to "enable direct downloads".
Thank you for the new mediafire plugins works great.

Any idea why sometimes, too many links (batch links) make FreeRapid have the "error warning" especially with mediafire batch?

No, I haven't heard of that error before. Could you attach the log file after experiencing this error?

How do I get the log file? It seems to disappear after I close the application? The log is too long and big like 21MB. The error appears if Freerapid got over loaded with too much batch links to download. Like 10-30 links right away and usually from downloading files in Mediafire folder. I'd like to avoid the error if possible.
One mediafire link could contains folders/files like 10-20 and emor. Unfortunately, FreeRapid could only detect the first top link without getting error. But, will eventually lead to errors if the files / folders (in that first link) are too much. It would be good if FreeRapid could detect just the desired folder link instead.
(example : [www.mediafire.com]).

Hmm, that's a weird exception. Seems to be a bug in ObjectDB. Do you have any idea Vity?
