does anyone know how to schedule facebook video downloads?

this is what i have.

1. Chrome Browser
2. FB video downloader extension
3. FreeRapid

I have no problem to save the video from Chrome browser,

but when i tried to use FreeRapid to schedule the video download, it gives me the following error.

i crop and paste the video download link into freerapid, and here is the error

any clue to solve this?

There are 2 methods:

1. Using FRD facebook plugin. Is there something wrong with FRD facebook plugin, if you copy-paste the facebook video URL (the one from Chrome's address bar)? Example link?

2. You can use your method, but you have to enable direct downloads (Options -> Preferences... -> General, "Enable direct downloads"). The link which you get from this method is probably short lived, I'm not sure I haven't tried.

Tong2Shot,

just days after able to download FB videos, it is now rendered not possible on some of the videos,

some of FB videos now has a different string to it,

blob:https%3A//www.facebook.com/cc11a27d-88c4-48e4-b870-84b96927b71c

may need your expertise to update the FB plugin.

FRD obviously can't add that string to the list, because it's not a valid URL. How did you get that string?

How about using method #1? Example link?

it only happens to some of the video in view

the video is link is from FB, and it is from one of the posted video feed from a facebook user.

1. i want to download this video,

2. when i right click on it, the save-as option is grey out

3. so i proceed to copy the video URL, and it looks like this

Quote

blob:https%3A//www.facebook.com/3a76f801-09f4-4940-b221-bf81cdc52777

looks like FB introduced a new tag into video handling

1. add link [www.facebook.com] to FRD
2. download video in FRD

ignore other attempts to copy link or save-as options from browser.
