BBC plugin error 'failed to parse manifest'

SRT files (subtitles) are still being downloaded, but not the episode itself

I tried some things and it seems in the plugin the Akamai option doesn't work anymore, the Limelight and Level3 option still work, but I can't get the subtitles to download with those + lots of timeouts too.
Also: I can't seem to download the subtitles anymore at all, not even with Akamai.
