ifile download speed limit

It seems ifile download speed is limited from a few Ks to about 40Ks per second while it used to be much faster. Is the ifile.it site able to detect downloading by proxy and limit the speed? If so, can a new plugin solve this problem?

FRD doesn't do any magic, so server side limitations cannot be removed.
