Hulu Plus 720p Plugin Request

Sorry its working back now after re opening FRD!

The 1.1.7 update didn't even touch any code related to login.

And also you have corrected 720p version downloading method perfectly
as when 480p download still there is a flow on it!
Do you remember this?

Now I understand what the problem is. It has nothing to do with login. There are certain kinds of servers that don't respond to FRD's requests at all. Plugin v1.1.6 doesn't attempt to download from these servers. Please report whether it works now.

this same prob come in 480p as well

This happens only for the videos that have a max quality of 480p
this isn't regular
sometimes this happens
but when it starts to happen
it continues forever!

But this doesn't show any errors
It just says download complete
But 0KB downloaded!

This problem is one of the hardest to debug (not least because logging and error handling in the rtmp plugin is crap, but that's my problem).

First of all, are you using SOCKS proxies? RTMP traffic cannot be tunneled through a HTTP proxy, and the Hulu RTMP servers refuse connections from non-US IPs. This causes the issue you describe.

No i use only HTTPS high anonymous proxies!
While i download 720p i dont get this!
it's totally debugged!
But this happens only in 480p
but when it starts happening its like unstoppable!

Where do you configure your proxy settings? Do you set them in Options > Preferences > Connections > Proxy settings, or do you use a proxy list with FRD, or do you set them somewhere outside FRD (if so, where?)?

FRD will not even attempt to use a proxy with RTMP unless it is a SOCKS proxy, and that should mean all Hulu downloads should never work with an HTTP/HTTPS proxy.

Maybe the georestrictions don't apply to (or are different with) Plus accounts. I will have to test that tomorrow.

Yes i configure in that place!
I only use HTTPS so desn't they support RTMP?
OK I'll try with sock!
