The history pop-up shows all the items along with date, URL and size.
Can a status bar be made to show total data transfered?

^ Good idea.. however, it wont be accurate.
I mean some hosts do not show filesize until you actually start downloading.

Plus theres an issue with sites where they use adaptive bitrate streaming.. that size varies until you get the whole file
Tong might be able to shed more light.

I also think this is useful feature when I use filezilla. So that I know total data in the queue.

As honey_ami said, it's more complicated in FRD. I don't find this feature will be useful for me personally because will not be accurate. Most items in my download queue are clips from streaming services (youtube, etc), image galleries from image hosts, which rarely states the file size.

But I agree this feature probably useful for many users who use file host services.
