"file added" - aaaargh!

hi, after installing Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, I have downloaded the frd again...
when I first heard the "file added" notification, I was like "hey, cool" but then it began to be like rapidshare error - file added - 10 secs - rs error - fa - 10s - etc...
and honestly, this is driving me crazy...
i googled the advise that in startup.properties there should be blindmode=false, but this did not help!

it is remarkable that you want to help disabled people, but I would appreciate that if it was not by the way that irritate "normal" people...

I would be glad to have some on/off button to this feature in the program...

would you be please that kind and advise me how to disable these sounds? (i don't consider "mute" as solution)

frd is great program and i have been using it for more than year but now i would have to consider downloading some else...

sorry, it is not...

as i stated in the previous post, i have typed false there, but it seemed to be working only for a while...

now it is doing it again, though the "false" is still there...
