Getting a proxy list
September 14, 2009 07:00AM
My first question was how do I get a proxy list. Well I found out it was as simple as entering "proxy list" into my search box.
The best I found was this site, [proxy-list.org]
Hope this helps.

can you post a sample listing using anonymous account?

ip:port
ip2:port

since 0.83beta4 you can also use SOCKS proxies
If the port is in the range 1080-1090 then the SOCKS proxy is being used automatically.
If you want to use SOCKS proxy explicitly, you have to use it with SOCKS prefix:
SOCKS:ip:port
SOCKS:ip2:port

I'm using a list with tons of proxies, in the ip:port standard, .txt format and everything, but when I try to use them I always get "ERROR: connection reset" and the only connection that works is my Default one. What may be the problem?

Simple answer. None of your proxies work properly.

Thanks buddy, I have 'checked' those proxies with a bad application. Now I'm with a better one, and it filtered out 90% of the list =P

Now everything is fine, thank you. Your software is the best ever!
