WordRider crashes when screensaver kicks in?
April 25, 2005 08:29PM
Am I the only person experiencing this?
If wordRider is running when my screen saver kicks in, WordRider will crash and leave behind a .log file. This happens consistently.

Windows XP

Hello Shymbob,
I searched the google about your problem. This problem was described by many users (eg. here: [forum.java.sun.com] or here[64.233.183.104]) using older(almost 3 years old) 1.4.0_01 JVM(Java Virtual Machine). I guess that this is the main problem.
So I advise you to upgrade to the newest JVM(uninstal the old version and install the new one), which you can easily download from here[java.sun.com](click on Download J2SE JRE)
I hope it helps.

Thanks for using WordRider.

Vity
