Indenting lost when file reloaded
April 27, 2005 10:41PM
Bug report: Using WordRider v0.5beta

When indenting lines in a document by padding with leading space characters, these padding characters are lost when the file is reloaded.

As an example I created a file which should appear as follows:

Test Document

zero
one
two
three
four
five

However, after saving and closing the document, then openning again it looks like this:

Test Document

zero
one
two
three
four
five

This can be very annoying when the author has spent a significant amount of time on the text formating.

PS. Looking forward to the up and coming 0.7 release. I would like to add the following features to the "wishlist":
1. Ability to select the colour used to highlight text - the current light blue colour is barely visible on my notebook screen.
2. Ability to draw simple block art by inserting symbols (a bit like the old teletext fonts used for simple graphics).

Oh no, even the indenting has been stripped from my forum message. My original post should have shown that lines in the original document were indented...

line "zero" had no indenting
line "one" was indented with one space character
line "two" was indented with two space characters
etc.

Sorry for any confusion,

Kind regards,

laser

Hello laser,
I know about this bug. It's described here: [wordrider.net]
It will be fixed in the next version. I hope I release it soon. Unfortunately I am really busy with school works sad smiley(

Thank you for posting and using WordRider.
