Won't send

I tried sending it to my calc (TI 89 TI HW 3.0 OS 3.10, Hardware 3 patched) with TI Connect X (1.6 (19) ) and it claims "The Object can not be sent to the selected device because it is intended for a device with a newer OS. Update the device OS and Try again." I'm trying to do this Mac Os X Tiger 10.4.9

Try to open and save generated file with TI-Graph link. I'm not sure if TI-Graph link is present in TI Connect X distribution on MacOS.
You can also try to use some hex editor and change first bytes in the file from '\*\*TI92P\*' into '\*\*TI89\*\*' or '\*\*TI92\*\*'.

You can also try to use TiLP utility ([lpg.ticalc.org]]) for sending files.

sent you the file, tried tilp earlier today to, won't send, tried sending with my mini usb to usb conection,

I checked it, you missed one star in the header.
Please try to send demo file (it's included in this post as attachment)
I still hope that there is problem with header.

Hmmmms.
Yet another idea: Try to create 89t in the calculator - press APPS button, then 8 (Text editor), 3 (New...) type variable name and a few characters.
After that move the variable (file) via TI Connect into your comp and upload it here please. Maybe they made some changes in the specification of variable in the newest version of OS.
Try to send that file back too.
Your problem has to have some reasonable explanation.

Thank you for your cooperation. I'll inspect it tommorow (=today) morning. I'm already too tired today, here is 2:25AM .
