Cannot open/browse files

Hello,

I'm having a small problem with WordRider.
Basically, I cannot open or 'save as..' because everytime I try to do so, javaw.exe (version .8) or wordrider.exe (version .8 alpha 3) simply spikes in the Processes list in the Task Manager and freezes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd really love to be able to use this program. Thank you for your time.

what is a version of your JRE and OS? Does WordRider produce any error log file?

Hi there, i have the same problem and my OS is Windows Xp pro Sp2 and Java version is set to 1.6.0_07

Does it happen always? Version 1.7 (7) or 1.6_07 (6) ?

Yeah, the problem still persists. :(

Try to remove all files from the lookandfeels directory and run it again.
Don't you use ESET Smart Security?

Hum yeah i have already tested to remove all files and run it again, and no i don't use Eset smart Security i have no AV and my firewall are desable. But i go try to reinstall java 7, this maybe do something ??
