Typing Summation in pretty print
April 17, 2008 12:50AM
Hello everyone. Hopefully some of you fellow WordRider experts can lend a helping hand.

I'm trying to enter some trigonometric functions into a file using WordRider to be viewed on my 89 using HibView. So far I haven't been able to find a way to write it that it will show up like it does in the picture attached.

Anyone know of a workaround?

Here's an example of what i've tried but didn't work:
sum((((-1)^n)/(2n+1)!)(x^(2n+1)),inf,n=0) where sum is sigma and inf is the infinity symbol
sum((((-1)^n)/(2n+1)!)(x^(2n+1)),inf,n=0) where sum is actually the letters s u & m written out and inf is again the infinity symbol

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
you can try this:
Σ((-1)^n/((2*n+1)!) *x^(2*n+1),n,0,∞)
I recommend you to check it at HOME screen (see image in the attachment). Note that minus (-1) is a special character on TI calculators.
