"Why can't you recognize CAPTCHA picture automatically? (MegaUpload...)

CAPTCHA pictures were created to not be recognized simply by computers. We don't have a technology that would handle it.
Sometimes the CAPTCHA pictures are barely readable by human eye, don't believe in some fantastic algorithm handling such pictures. I would work for IBM for many $$$ if I have such algorithm."

Is it really that hard, have you looked here, they a sucessrate of 92% and lots of example and algorithms.

Hi Vity,

it's great tool !! "THUMBS UP"

Wouldn't be possible when downloading from servers having CAPTCHA pics to go first through all the links and ask the user to recognize the string by himself and then to start downloading?

Of course it is not so comfortable like Auto Recognition, but still fine and the user doesn't need to sit by the computer all time and wait for the start of next link to be recognized and downloaded ..

But good luck for your work

It's not possible at most of cases. Captcha string usually has own timeout.
