you also have kaspersky?? I kaspersky 2013 with windows 7 + all ok, windows 8 with kaspersky 2013 should not be

No, I don't use Kaspersky.

Antivirus software is just endless headache as the multitude of these threads show.

Well, I am not using either kaspersky or win8. There are some suggestions based-on "googling" the app.log.

Are you using java version 7 ? If yes, could you try to uninstall java version 7 and use the latest java version 6 (Java SE 6 Update 37) instead ?

oh my ....! it works perfectly! then the problem is java 7?? At this point you can put the exclusions of kis 2013 java 7 or I keep the 6??

No, the problem is probably the Oracle Java update system. Now you can uninstall Java 6 and install Java 7 again.
It will work.

then works with java 6, if I remove the 6 and put the 7 does not work, if I put both the 6 and the 7 works Oo

With only java 7 (not both java 6 and java 7 installed) , please try this : [wordrider.net]

In FRD 0.9, "start.bat" is replaced by "frd.bat".

You can try to add this line into startup.properties: 

-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

Then run it on Java 7.
